French Judges Release Report on the Plane Crash Used as a Pretext to Start Genocide in Rwanda
Kigali, 10 January 2012-The Government of Rwanda today welcomed the report of the experts appointed by French Judges Marc Trévidic and Nathalie Poux that identified Kanombe Military Barracks as the launch site of the missile that brought down the plane carrying former President Juvenal Habyarimana on 6 April 1994.

Addis Ababa, 26 August 2011; The African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council convened a summit of Heads of State and Governments to discuss the report of the African Union Adhoc Committee on Libya. Rwanda was represented by Prime MinisterBernard Makuza and also attended by Louise Mushikiwabo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and Ambassador Joseph Nsengimana of the Republic of Rwanda to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative of Rwanda to AU.
